Zayah pics and first camping trip

I have been blogging a lot lately mostly for my own journaling so sorry if this is all not interesting to you but I need things on record..... Pictures and camping trip coming up in this one....

Z in the tub.. I think she looks like her cousin Lexi in this picture..

We had some nice days the beginning of May and spend some awesome days outside in the sun!

Watching the Stanley Cup finals with Grandpa Ross. I know this is weird but Zayah will NOT look away from the tv if hockey is on. I can stand in front of her and try to get her to focus on something else but she will not look away from hockey. Her Dad loves this of course.

My baby girl is 3 and a half months and has started to roll over a bit. She can go pretty good from belly to back but has only rolled from back to belly a couple times. We are working on it.

Cutie. :)

Her Daddy misses her when he`s gone.

A little fun with some photo editing in this one.

Not even four months and Daddy can get her to stand on his hands....

Zayah`s first camping trip was to the Community Pasture, May long weekend 2011. There was a fireban but luckily we had pretty good weather. She slept in longer than I did every morning, in fact, I had to wake her up in the mornings to feed her and then let her go back to bed after. She did awesome!!

Good one!! (please don`t mind my Mexican-Cowboy`husband.)

Zayah laughed and laughed when Jaxon came to entertain her.

:)

Had to wear her Camo outfit on her first Camping trip.

Took a little walk with my baby girl. She loves to look around in awe of everything.

Camping trip was a success and we will definitely be going again when Chase has days off this summer..

Today was Zayah's CT scan to get her hematoma checked out on her head. She has one side of her head that has a little bump from her hematoma left on it and then that side has stayed out farther then the other side of her head. She had an x-ray at the Cardston hospital about a month ago and they couldn't find something specific that was wrong but suggested a CT scan because it is more thorough. Basically we need to know if we need to shape her skull while she's still little with a helmet or something or if this will just go away on its own.

We got to the hospital at 8:30am and went through 2 or 3 desks, taking a paper with us, waiting in waiting rooms... then we met the nurse that would be helping Zayah. they had to give Z sedation so she would hold still for the scan. The nurse brought her sedation medicine in a syringe and gave it to her orally. She was asleep in about 5 minutes. The scan lasted about 5 minutes is all and when the nurse brought her back to me she was passed right out still. I had to wait in a room until she woke up and ate so they could make sure she was ok and then we could leave. We left around 10:30am. Waiting for results from our Doc now.

Peirced ears

May 5, 2011 we got Zayah's ears peirced...

This is after we got home and she was happy as a clam...

but when it actually happened?!?! OH MAN!! She screamed, it is the hardest we have ever heard her cry. It lasted a few minutes and then she was done and happy again. Just the initial pokes and the shock really got her good. But she looks so cute now and it just needed to be documented.

A surprise!!

Shannon, Zayah and I drove to Wyoming on Sunday the 24th and did not tell Aunt Joni we were coming. :) When we got to Evanston we parked just down from her house and dropped off a grocery bag full of Canadian treats. We watched her get the bag and go back inside. Then we all went up to the door, put Zayah in her carseat on the doorstep and then Shannon and I hid around the corner. She cam out and instantly started crying, picked baby up and was a bit confused. Shannon and I finally showed our faces and we all hugged and cried of course.

It was soooo hard to keep a secret from Joni because I tell her everything. But we did it and she had no idea!

Monday morning we got to take Tandra and Cassidy for breakfast so they got to meet their cousin.

Silly girls

Ready for a day of shopping!!

Passing out on Aunt Joni..... they loved to cuddle.

My pretty girl!

Zayah loves to go swimming so we had to try out the hotel pool!

Shanny and Zayah.

Aunty Joni

Hot tubbin with the girls.

I finally found Zayah at bikini!!!

Wednesday we went to Provo and Aunt Sue was there! She was meeting up with some high school friends for a girls getaway and so we went to meet her so Zayah could meet her Aunt Sue!

We shopped in Park City and Provo. We visited some friends and got to see some family. We mostly just cared about seeing Joni so Zayah could meet her. We had a blast!! I couldn't have done it without Shannon, she helped us drive down and held Zayah and played with her a lot. And Joni's boyfriend also helped us surprise Joni. He got us our hotel reservation, and got Joni days off from her work. He was the best!! They will be here in 2 months so we can see them again and I can't wait!!!!

This last picture is just for fun. This is Z laying with Linkyn. My sister Channing has a roommate that has this little boy and he is adorable and Z and him were cuddling. it was cute... I couldn't resist. :)

First Easter

This year is Zayahs first Easter and I know she will not remember it but I wanted to document it and put pictures in her baby book. So I made a big deal of it. We invited some friends of ours that have kids over and we had a BBQ, colored easter eggs, and then had an Easter egg hunt around our yard. This is Z's first Easter basket.

My friend Ashley Law (who did Zayah's newborn pictures) took some pictures of my baby girl in her Easter Dress for me. They turned out beautiful. More to come.

Z in her Easter dress with her Easter basket.

From left to right, Coadee, Zayah, and Brynlee. Coadee is Mandys baby girl, I was in the hospital room with her when she had her. Brynlee is my other friend Ashley's baby girl. They are both one years old and they got Zayah this outfit so they could all be matching. :)

Grammie Jacobs

Zayah and I went over to Grandmas house for a little visit a couple weeks ago. She is the cutest Grammie in the world, it's true......

93 years old and still doing everything for herself. So glad Zayah gets to live so close to her.
